Archery Adventures Wyoming 2005

Story By: Brad Frost

We hope you enjoy the pictures from our Wyoming gallery.

This trip was especially near and dear to my heart and that of my Archery Adventures partner, Scott Carroll, as it involved both our families and friends.
For many years, my dad, Jack, dreamed of someday taking a hunting trip out West. So early last year, my brothers and I got together and organized a week long trip to Wyoming for all of us to hunt pronghorn with Davy Nacey at Monster Critters Outfitters and visit Yellowstone National Park. Jared, Jason, and I surprised dad on his 65th birthday by presenting him with a card containing the hunting license application.

Dad was really excited by the prospect of getting his antelope at long last, and we were all equally enthused about not only taking this trip to hunt, but to also create some special family memories.
Anyone that knows my longtime hunting partner and friend, Scott Carroll, knows that he seldom passes on an opportunity to hunt. It wasn't long before Scott decided to join in on the action. Like my brothers and I, Scott decided this would be a great hunt to share with family and invited his own dad, Dennis, to accompany us. Along the way, we picked up two friends who also wanted to join in the adventure — Neil Young and Donny Fiegle.

We all experienced success on this hunt, but I can't describe how great it felt to have my dad and brothers with me. Dad loved the beautiful scenery we saw on the hunt and at Yellowstone. He got his chance for antelope on the second day of the trip. As you can see by the pictures, he made out like a bandit. He says he can "die happy now" that his dream to hunt out West has been fulfilled. My dad also tells me that one of the most special things about this trip was the opportunity it gave him to spend that time with his "boys".
